At Walsham-Le Willows Primary School we worked with all the children to create a large mosaic to welcome visitors to the school. The children worked on the letter circles at an after school club. These were then fixed to the backboard so that the swirling mosaic pattern could be worked around them. The whole process apart from the grouting was completed indoors. We also ran a family workshop during the school holidays. The children and parents had fun learning the mosaic process and trying it out on small panels to illustrate the class names.
