This was a one day project for science week in Great Barton Primary School. The theme for the week was plants and a large scale artwork for the school hall was suggested. The previous day the children had been to Jimmy's Farm and found plants to inspire their artwork.

All the children spent the whole day moving between three different art activities.  In the hall a large black and white background of scaled up leaves was created from plastics. The main activity was making 3D flowers from recycled plastics collected by the children.  Also they made large cut out painted flowers decorated with an array of small recycled plastics.
