Way to go Kirsty!

Way to Go!   A half day of drama and art for year 3 or 4. This is an ideal workshop to help implement school travel plans and link to the 'sustainable and healthy schools programmes'.

 A year group of up to 60 can work in groups on a variety of activities. In the drama session the children will meet Gary the alien and explore his transport headaches on the planet Breathathon. Through the art activities they will be able to think about how transport choices impact the local environment. This will result in a large-scale artwork from mainly recycled materials that can be customized for the school's wall-space.

During the workshop the children will think about the following ;

How they travel to school and the positive negative consequences of this choice.

How travel choices affect the local community

What they can do to change things.
