Willow weaving is an old rural craft that can be a great outdoor activity with some practical and arty results.
Why not get the children involved in building a willow vegetable garden fence as part of a playground improvement project. Large 3D willow animals look great in a wildlife garden.
Alternatively for older age groups we can offer basket making, Christmas and garden decorations or maybe a even a willow chicken.
